Adam Khoo said Expats Foreign Talents will Rule Singapore

Adam Khoo is a well known Singaporean entrepreneur who became a self-made millionaire by the young age of 26. He is most famous for his motivational seminars and self-help books. Adam Khoo recently made a bold prediction that in a few years, expatriates (aka Foreign Talents FT) will rule Singapore.

According to Adam Khoo, the signs are on the walls already. For example in 2009, the top Primary School Leaving Exam (PSLE) graduating student is a China Chinese. Many students who are on the deans list students and who earned their first class honours in Singapore’s local universities are foreigners. Increasingly, more corporate CEOs in multi-nationals and government link companies are expats. And not to mention our National sports teams are filled with expat foreign talents.

Adam Khoo suggested that the reason this is happening because Singaporeans are losing an important attribute, and that is the ability to be hungry for success and the fighting spirit. This is quite unlike our forefathers who migrated to Singapore and the current batch of foreign expats who are here to make a living on our shores.

Adam Khoo even proclaimed that, “unless the new generation of Singaporeans wake up and get out of their happy over protected bubble and start fighting for their future, the expats (like our great grandfathers) will soon be the rulers of the country. At the rate at which talented and hungry expats are climbing up , our future prime minister may be an Indian or China PR or may even an Ang Moh!”
