The diva of Mediacorp Singapore, Fann Wong, who recently married Christopher Lee on Sep 2009, is down with the H1N1 Influenza A Flu.

Fann Wong, who had just returned to Singapore on 19 Nov 2009 from Hainan Island, China, developed flu symptoms the next day and a fever on Sunday. Fann Wong was eventually diagnosed with the virus when she visited a doctor that evening.

The Mediacorp Singapore actress has since been given a 10 days worth of MC (medical leave).

The local full-feature comedy “Happy Go Lucky” held its first day shoot ceremony on Monday without the actress. Fann’s manager said that the movie which was planned to debut during the Chinese New Year period in 2010 is now in “tremendous chaos” as they need to adjust their filming plans to accomodate Fann Wong.

Director of the movie, Harry Yap said: “In film production, we always anticipate changes. We just have to reschedule the affected shoot and hope Fann will get well soon.”

    My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.
