Ms Jeong Ae Ree is the Korean opera singer and voice teacher who spent many hours partying with the former Romanian diplomat Dr Silviu Ionescu, on the night of the incident where he allegedly caused a double hit and run at Bukit Panjang, Singapore, in December 2009.
The 40 years old Ms Jeong Ae Ree is quite pretty and some netizens thought that she looked like Fiona Xie, the famous Singaporean ex-actresses from certain angles. Ms Jeong told the Singaporean inquiry that on that evening, she had went partying with Dr Silviu at a few places. They started their partying at Shangri-La Hotel, and continued to a Turkish restaurant in Clarke Quay, and ended up at the Legend Palace KTV along Selegie Road, before he send her home.
She told the inquiry that she realised she had 2 missed call the next day, and the interesting part was when Dr Silviu visited her to tell her that he did not actually drink any alcohol the night before. It was only a week later before she found out in the news about the talk of the town.
