Liu Qian Magic Show Exposed on 2010 Chinese New Year

Liu Qian (刘谦) is a famous celebrity Magician/Illusionist who specialises in the Taiwanese and Mainland China’s market. He got really famous when he was invited to co-judge a section on Magicians’ competition in a popular Taiwan variety TV programme. On the evening of 2010 CNY, he was invited onto a programme where he performed this amazing magic trick. The magic is that he can push his arm through a glass table to pick up the coins under the the table, in close proximity of his guests.

Unfortunately for Liu Qian, his amazing magic was exposed within hours of his performance online. Many people criticise the tricks he used and gloat when his peformance was exposed. Liu Qian himself is upset, stating that revealing the truth about illusion is an infringement on intellectual property.
