Malaysia’s No Panties Promotion for Valentine’s Day 2010

There is a new hype in Malaysia that is quickly gaining fans among students but upsetting many conservatives. An unnamed group in Malaysia has decided that the best way to express their love to their boyfriends is to have a “no panties” promotion. Word of mouth have spread among many female students in Malaysia’s educational institutes of higher-learning where they are being persuaded to follow this campaign as an expression of true love for their boyfriends.

The group has been successful as many students are planning to ahead with this campaign on Valentine’s Day on 14 February 2010.

This campaign which is being promoted in Malaysia for the first time have its detractors. On the other side of the fence are the more conservative group who thinks that Muslim students should not celebrate in this manner as it will deviate from the teachings of Islam.
