So the cat is now out of the bag. Checks by the press shows that Leon Lai and Gaile Lai got married in Las Vegas in March 2008 just before their Maldives honeymoon. Coincidentally, or not, Andy Lau married his secret girlfriend Carol Chu in June 2008. These news marked the end of the bachelorhood of 2 of the 4 Heavenly Kings from Hong Kong. The other 2 are Jackie Cheung who’s marriage was never a secret, and Aaron Kwok, who is apparently still very focused on his career.
These secret marriages were revealed soon after Andy Lau’s father-in-law passed away in Malaysia this month.
