Senior Pastor Rony Tan is the man of the moment due to Pastor Rony Tan’s insensitive criticisms about Buddhism made and recorded on YouTube videos during his sermons. He had since apologised for the incident and promised not to let the same thing happen again.

Interestingly, he got into the limelight 2 years ago also over a YouTube video he made. In 2008, Pastor Rony Tan had composed “The Singapore Song” and sang this patriotic-sounding song personally. He had explained the purpose of the song:
“In deep gratitude to our protective and caring government all these 43 years, The Singapore Song was written in their honor. It is also specially dedicated to Mr & Mrs Lee Kuan Yew.”
