Twilight is a 2008 romantic-fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. The protagonists of the film are Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, who are played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, respectively. The movie focuses on a teenage girl, seventeen-year-old Isabella “Bella” Swan, who fell in love with Edward Cullen, a vampire that only drinks animal blood, after she moves to Forks, a small town near Washington state’s rugged coast, to live with her father, Charlie, after her mother remarries to a minor league baseball player.

In Twilight 2: New Moon, the sequel to the highly successful Twilight, Bella Swan is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.
