Victoria’s Secret First Store in Asia – At Singapore Resort World

The famous lingerie retailer, Victoria’s Secret will open in Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa in Q1 of 2010. This is great news for the brand’s Asian fans and the news came soon after Liu Wen became the first Asian Victoria’s Secret Angel in November 2009.

Victoria’s Secrets is also known as 维多利亚的秘密 in Chinese.

Ashvin Valiram, the director of Malaysian-based retailer Valiram Group, revealed to the media that after 5 long years of negotiations, his company will finally be able to bring in the first Victoria’s Secret store in Asia to Singapore.

He said that there are plans to fly in Victoria’s Secret’s brand ambassadors such as Sharon Stone and Orlando Bloom to grace various events. He is also open to the possibilities of hosting the famous annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Singapore.

The Singapore online community is abuzz with excitement and many (presumably male) fans are looking forward to Victoria’s Secret coming to town. They are hopeful that at least some of the company’s models will be here in person for the launch.
