Wayang Guy Feature: Kenny Sia the Number 1 Malaysian Blogger

Wayang Times is not always about pretty girls. I thought I’d take a short hiatus from interviewing girls and instead, I bring to you the most successful blogger from Malaysia today. The funny guy: Kenny Sia! First of all, I must thank Kenny for being very accomodating and sporty to agree to this email interview. I am very honoured that he has agreed as he is one of my most favourite writers in the world. Check out the funny interview below.

Wayang Times (Wayang): How old are you, where do you live and what do you do for a living?

Kenny Sia (Kenny): I’m turning 27, living in a small city called Kuching on the often-forgotten Eastern part of Malaysia. I used to work as an IT Manager, but I’ve left that earlier this year to start my own business.

Wayang: Your height, weight and vital stats?

Kenny: I’m 170cm, 83kg and my vital stats are 34-34-34.

Wayang: Do you think you are handsome/cute/funny…?

Kenny: Funny, but in a tragic way, yes.

Wayang: Which part of your body are you most proud of?

Kenny: My balls. I call them my coconuts. They are so big they have their own NRIC.

Wayang: Lol okay. You always sounded awfully proud of your coconuts. What about your banana? Want to impress us with any stories?

Kenny: Oh yea, my banana. Once upon a time, Michael Bay wants to make a movie about about my banana called “Transformers”.

Wayang: Luckily it didn’t work out or it might be boring to watch a permanently transformed banana and Megan Fox only!

Wayang: How much do you earn from blogging? Any chance that you will become a professional blogger?

Kenny: I earn enough from blogging to make a comfortable living, but I don’t think I am ever going to make it my full-fledged career. I think professional bloggers are somewhat like singers or actors. You’re probably gonna be hot for a few years, make lots of money but eventually you’ll fizzle out or end up like Britney Spears. That’s why I’m starting my own business, which is more traditional and has nothing to do with blogging or the internet at all.

Wayang: What are some of the things you would like to put into your mouth but yet to have the opportunity to do so?

Kenny: Fiona Xie.

Wayang: Favourite positions?

Kenny: On top of Fiona Xie.

Wayang: Seems like Fiona Xie has universal appeal!

Wayang: How much will it cost for you to pose nude for any magazines such as Her World?

Kenny: Free of charge. But since when did Her World start doing nudie man shoots har?

Wayang: Actually they don’t lol. It was hypothetical. If you get one wish to become a girl, who would you like to be and why?

Kenny: Jenzene. So I can talk shit about other people in gossip forums and “conveniently” disappear when my naked pics surface on the internet.

Wayang: Favourite female blogger?

Kenny: I have to say Audrey of fourfeetnine.com or Cheesie of cheeserland.com. There are very few female bloggers out there who are as witty as they are and cute to boot.

Wayang: If you get to date one famous Singaporean, who you would like to date (can be a guy)?

Kenny: Why you specifically put “can be a guy” there! You expect me to say Steven Lim is it?

Wayang: Lol I don’t mean that. I meant that you might think I am asking which girl you’d like to date, which is not really my intention. I thought you may want to meet our famous Phua Chu Kang etc.

Kenny: Ahh! “Date” and “Meet” are two very different things. I have no idea which Singaporean girl I’d like to date, but the only famous Singaporean I’d love to meet is… Jet Li.

Wayang: Ha ha that is a good one! I thought you may mention the other Lee though.

Wayang: You fly around so much for work and fun. Joined the mile high club yet?

Kenny: Sorry ah, toilet cubicles in budget airlines a bit too small for me.

Wayang: I am quite impressed that you dare to make fun of yourself on your blog and in real life. Do you really enjoy clowning around and why? Not afraid that your kids will be embarrassed in the future?

Kenny: Life is tough if you don’t poke fun and laugh at yourself. My kids will be fine with it lah. I asked them for permission already. I’d be more worried about how my kids would feel if I don’t treat other people well and live my life with integrity. As Confucius say, “Why so serious?”

Wayang: Right…. Anyway admit it, you are a regular reader of Wayang Times. Lol. Which part of Wayang Times do you enjoy most?

Kenny: It’s the intellectual and insightful CNN-type breaking news that I admire the most.

Wayang: I knew it!

Wayang: Any words for Wayang Times or its readers.

Kenny: Life is too short not to read Wayang Times.
