Widow Kerin Peh Committed Suicide 1 Month After Her Groom Fell from Hilton Hotel

Miss Kerin Peh, 27, the widow of the groom who fell from Singapore’s Hilton Hotel a few hours after their wedding dinner in Nov 2009 has been admitted to the A&E department of Tan Tock Seng Hospital on yesterday morning. She was found with cuts to both her wrists and the Police has classified the case as attempted suicide.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force and the paramedics who arrived at Kerin Peh’s parents-in-law’s home found her unconscious on a bed with some unidentified pills beside her.

    Hope she is alright. The incident must have dealt her with a great blow.

    yah. bless her. think so far still ok. but such attempts will definitely land her into more trouble as it is actually illegal to commit suicide in singapore.

    I can understand how much pain Ms Kerin Peh has gone through. Fortunately, she escaped a close shave upon undergoing an immediate op after committing suicide by slashing her wrist. A hubby had gone, causing her heart to be shattered. However, what she did was foolish. Some people think that by committing suicide, their problems will be resolved. But that is still not the case. What’s more, this can even inflict great pain to those who love them.
    I hope that she will not do such a silly thing again.
