temasek review

I only came to know that WayangParty.com has changed their domain name to become TemasekReview.com. Their transition was pretty smooth and everything seems business as usual other than the name change and minor tweak to their pages. This is a website that claims to be independent, balanced and unbiased but I always walk away with the feeling that they are definitely not pro-government. However if you are a regular Straits Times reader like myself, you will find that The Temasek Review’s opinions refreshing, and almost always opposite to that of the number 1 newspaper in Singapore.

Modified from their About Me page:

The Temasek Review is supposedly an internet newspaper which aims to provide an independent, balanced and unbiased coverage on socio-political affairs in Singapore. They claim that they are not linked to any political party or commercial entity.

They also mentioned that their editorial position is consistently based on social justice, human rights, democracy, civil liberties, and governance centred around the principles of transparency, accountability and responsibility. They hope that Singaporeans will come to recognize these values as the pillars of our nation’s foundation.
